Identity Policies and Personal Data

We, at Privacidade Brasil, are launching today the report “Políticas de Identidade e Dados Pessoais – Índia, México, Estônia, Quênia, Reino Unido e Brasil”, in which we analyze unique identification policies, as well as the reasons why they are growing around the world. We selected 6 countries (Brazil, India, United Kingdom, Estonia, Mexico and Kenya) in order to cover models that are both criticized and applauded, and in force or not.

Our analyzes were made through the lens of privacy and data protection, in order to investigate how this issues relate to unique identification policies, and how countries address this right while implementing their identity policies.
